The Autumn Specials
Enjoy an autumn journey through unspoilt Snowdonia.
Your train journey will take you from Tywyn at the coast, or any of the intermediate stations, on a journey up the spectacular Fathew valley. The view from the window changes every season, this time of year you can enjoy the beautiful autumn colours in the unspoilt scenery of the Snowdonia National Park. Each train pauses at Abergynolwyn station on the return journey for around half an hour, giving you opportunity to take light refreshments at the Quarryman’s tea room, stretch your legs, or let the children loose on The Railway Adventure Playground. King's Licensed Café is open 10am – 3pm for Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Tea, the morning train returns you to Tywyn Wharf at 12:55 just in time for lunch!
The Orange timetable is in operation: trains leave Tywyn at 10:30am and 1:50pm and take approximately 2.5 hours in total. You may join at any station. Normal fares apply: Adults £12.50, Accompanied Children £3 for the round trip.
